EV Motor, Power, and Performance The Eletres base powertrain is a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup making 603 horsepower. Lotus says thats enough to rocket the Eletre to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds, but the top-spec R boasts a whopping 905 horsepower and an estimated zero-to-62-mph time of only 2.9 seconds. Lotus hasn revealed anything yet about the Eletres suspension or handling, but we expect the sports car maker will imbue its first SUV with crisp handling and a fun-to-drive nature.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPGe The EPA has not yet released fuel economy estimates for the Eletre and we haven had a chance to test the electric SUV for ourselves. When we do, well take it on our 75-mph highway fuel economy route and update this story with test results. The High Definition OLED central screen works in tandem with the digital passenger display. The Eletre operating system is future-proof by design, and functionality will be added via over-the-air-updates. TAILORED FOR COMFORT AND CONTROL Jewellery-grade stainless steel and plasticised metals ensure that every control element is luxuriously durable. The carbon fibre panels are crafted with a unique sateen weave construction, maintaining a sporty yet refined visual profile. BUILT FOR UTILITY The Eletres extended cargo capacity has all the room you need for your next adventure. 688 litre boot Hands-free opening makes it easier to load items into the Eletres spacious boot. Rapid charging enables longer journeys by adding as much range as possible in the shortest amount of time. Charging power will decrease significantly after 80% state-of-charge has been reached. A typical rapid charge therefore rarely exceeds 80% SoC. The rapid charge rate of an EV depends on the charger used and the maximum charging power the EV can handle.
